Guests join Ms. Eglantine Price as she sets out with the aid of three clever children, evacuated from the London Blitz, in search of the missing component to a powerful ancient spell that will foil the encroaching German troops.
The proposed dark ride would sit in the UK Pavilion in EPCOT, revitalizing the World Showcase with much-needed ride-based attractions, continuing off the success of the recently opened Ratatouille ride in France and Frozen overlay in Norway. It is a dark-fantasy adventure ride for the whole family that allows guests to board Eglantine’s motorbike, enchanted with the same traveling spell as the bed.
Speeding off from the English countryside, you follow Ms. Price and the children to the sooty and dangerous WWII London Streets, then diving into the fantastical Island of Naboombu—where you find the spell for Substitutiary Locomotion which springs all the armor of English history to life in a finale epic battle for Britain.
Guests will be humming the familiar tunes from the film by Disney legends, Richard and Roger Sherman, as they exit the ride and stop into Eglantine’s Magical Matters—A retail shop which will feature her workroom from the film, filled with all sorts of enchanted goodies for the guests to see and buy. Next door, The Naboombu Room is a fashionable 1940s restaurant and magical speakeasy.
